2 Thessalonians Quick Link – Go To Chapter:
Paul and Silvanus and Timothy, to the assembly at Thessalonica in El our Father, and the Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach,
2 Grace to you and peace from El the Father and the Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach.
3 We owe thanks to Elohim for you always brethren, as is fitting, because your faith has grown exceedingly as the love of each one of you toward one another abounds.
4 Therefore, we ourselves boast of you among the assembly of Elohim. for your endurance and faith in the midst of all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure,
5 which is a manifest indication of Elohim’s righteous judgment, so that you will be deemed deserving of the kingdom of Elohim, for which indeed you also suffer.
6 It is a righteous thing for Elohim to repay with tribulation those who afflict you,
7 and rest to you who are afflicted, with us as well, when Master YEHOSHUA is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels;
8 with flaming fire yielding punishment to those who do not know Elohim, and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach.
9 These will be punished with the judgment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Master, and from the glory of His power,
10 when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day; and to be marveled at by all who have believed. For our testimony to you was believed!
11 To this end also we pray for you always, that our Elohim will count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power,
12 so that the Name of our Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our Elohim and the Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach.
Now we beseech you brethren, concerning the coming of our Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach, and our gathering together to Him,
2 that you not be quickly shaken in your understanding, or be troubled, either by a spirit or a message or a letter, as if from us, that the day of the Master has come.
3 Let no one by any means deceive you, for that day shall not come until the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed; the son of perdition,
4 who opposes and exalts himself above everything that is called el, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as el in the temple of Elohim, displaying himself as being El.
5 Do you not remember that while I was still with you I told you these things?
6 And now you know what restrains him, so that he will be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, only now restrained, until he appears in their midst.
8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Master will put to death with The Spirit of His testimony, and abolish by the brightness of His presence;
9 whose coming is in accord with the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 and with all the deception of iniquity for those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth so that they might be saved.
11 For this reason Elohim will send upon them a strong delusion, so that they will put their trust in a lie,
12 in order that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in iniquity.
13 But we should always give thanks to Elohim for you, brethren beloved by the Master, because Elohim has chosen you from the beginning for deliverance through sanctification of The Spirit, and belief in the truth.
14 For it was for this He called you through our gospel, that you obtain the glory of our Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach.
15 So then brethren, stand firm, and hold to the traditions that you were taught, whether by word or by letter from us.
16 Now may our Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach Himself and El our Father, Who loves us and gives us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,
17 encourage and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.
Finally brethren, pray for us that the word of the Master will run its course and be glorified, just as it is with you;
2 and that we will be delivered from wicked and evil people, for not all have faith.
3 But the Master is faithful, Who will strengthen you, and keep you from the evil.
4 And we have confidence in the Master toward you, that you are doing, and will do, what is commanded of you.
5 And may the Master direct your hearts into the love of Elohim, and into the endurance of Messiah.
6 Now we command you, brethren, in the Name of our Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach, that you avoid every brother whose walk is disorderly and not according to the traditions that you received from us.
7 For you know how you ought to mimic us, because we did not behave without discipline among you,
8 nor did we eat anyone’s bread freely. But with labor and hardship we worked night and day so that we would not be an expense to any of you;
9 not that we do not have the authority, but so that we might offer ourselves as an example to you, so that you would mimic us.
10 For even when we were with you, we commanded that if anyone is unwilling to work, then neither should they eat.
11 For we hear that some among you walk disorderly, laboring not at all, but are busybodies.
12 Now such we command and exhort in the Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach to work quietly and eat their own bread.
13 But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary of doing well.
14 And if anyone does not obey the words of this letter, note that person, and do not keep company with them, so that they may be shamed.
15 Yet do not consider them as an enemy, but admonish them as brethren.
16 And may the Master of peace Himself, through all things, grant you peace in every way. The Master be with you all!
17 I, Paul, by my hand, write this greeting, and this marks every letter that I write.
18 The grace of our Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach be with you all. Amen!
