Titus CHAPTER 1

Paul, a slave of Elohim and an apostle of YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach, according to the faith of Elohim’s elect, and the knowledge of the truth that is according to piety,
2 in the hope of eternal life, which Elohim, who cannot lie, promised before time,
3 but at the proper time manifested His Word, through the preaching, which was entrusted unto me according to the commandment of El our Deliverer,
4 to Titus, my legitimate child according to the common faith: Grace and mercy from El the Father and the Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach our Deliverer.
5 For this sake I left you in Crete, that you would set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city as I commanded you;
6 if any man be irreproachable, the husband of one wife, having faithful children, not accused of dissipation or insubordination.
7 For the overseer must be irreproachable as Elohim’s steward, not self-willed, not inclined to anger, not given to wine, not a hitter, not greedy of sordid gain,
8 but hospitable, a lover of virtue, discreet, just, reverent, temperate,
9 holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, so that he will be able both to exhort with sound doctrine, and to convict those who contradict.
10 For there are many insubordinate and vain talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,
11 whose mouths must be silenced, who subvert whole households, teaching what they should not for the sake of filthy gain.
12 One of themselves, a prophet of their own, said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, idle gluttons.”
13 This testimony is true. For this reason convict them sharply so that they may be sound in the faith,
14 not paying attention to the fables of Yehudism, and commandments of men who turn away from the truth.
15 To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their mind and conscience are defiled.
16 They profess to know Elohim, but their works say not, being abominable and disobedient and worthless for any good work.

Titus CHAPTER 2

But you; speak what is fitting for sound doctrine.
2 Older men are to be sober, honorable, discreet, sound in faith, in love, in patience.
3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not slanderers nor given to much wine, teaching what is good;
4 so that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children;
5 to be discreet, chaste, workers at home, being subject to their own husbands, so that the Word of Elohim will not be blasphemed.
6 Likewise exhort the young men to be sober-minded.
7 In all things show yourself to be examples of good works; incorrupt in doctrine, honest, sincere,
8 sound in speech, which is above reproach; that they who are opposed will be shamed, having nothing evil to say of you.
9 Slaves, submit to your own lords in everything, be well-pleasing, not contradictory,
10 not embezzling, but showing all good faith, so that they will adorn the doctrine of El our Deliverer in every respect.
11 For the grace of Elohim that brings deliverance to all people has appeared,
12 teaching us to deny irreverence and worldly lusts, and to live soberly, righteously and reverently in the present age,
13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great El and Deliverer, YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach,
14 who gave Himself for us, to redeem us from every iniquity, and to purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous for good deeds.
15 These things speak and exhort and convict with all authority. Let no one despise you.

Titus CHAPTER 3

Put them in mind to be subject to rulers and authorities; to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,
2 to slander no one, to abstain from fighting, to be gentle, showing all humility unto all people.
3 For we ourselves also once were foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in wickedness and envy, hateful, hating one another.
4 But when the kindness and love of El, the Deliverer of mankind, appeared,
5 He saved us, not because of works that we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by The Holy Spirit,
6 whom He poured out upon us abundantly through YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach our Deliverer,
7 so that being justified by His grace, we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8 This is a faithful statement; and concerning these things I want you to affirm constantly, so that those who believe Elohim will be careful to practice good works. These things are good and profitable for all people,
9 but avoid foolish disputes, and genealogies, and debates, and conflicts about the Law, for they are unprofitable and vain.
10 Reject all heretics after a first and second warning,
11 knowing that such are perverted and sinning, being self-condemned.
12 When I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, be diligent to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have decided to winter there;
13 aid Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey, so that nothing is lacking for them.
14 And let our people also learn to practice good works to meet necessary needs, so that they will not be unfruitful.
15 All who are with me greet you. Greet those who love us in faith. Grace with you all.
