2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 1

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 1

Paul, an apostle of YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach by the will of Elohim, and Timothy our brother, to the church of Elohim which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are throughout Achaia:
2 Grace to you and peace from El our Father and the Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach.
3 Blessed be El, even the Father of our Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach; the Father of mercies and El of all comfort,
4 Who comforts us in all our tribulation, so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any tribulation with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by El.
5 For just as the sufferings of Messiah abound in us, so our comfort also abounds through Messiah.
6 And if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer.  Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
7 And our hope for you is firm, knowing that as you are partakers of our sufferings, so also you are of our consolation.
8 For we do not, brethren, want you to be unknowing of the tribulation which came in Asia; that we were burdened beyond measure, and in excess of our strength, so that we despaired even of life.
9 Indeed, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, so that we should not trust in ourselves, but in Elohim Who raises the dead;
10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver; in Whom we trust that He will deliver us;
11 you also helping together by your prayers, so that for the gift given us by the means of many persons, thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
12 For our rejoicing is this:  The testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and reverent sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of Elohim, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.
13 For we write no other things to you than what you read and recognize, and we trust you will recognize even until the end;
14 as also you have recognized us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as you also are ours in the day of our Master YEHOSHUA.
15 And in this confidence I intended to come to you before, so that you might receive a second benefit;
16 and to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again unto you out of Macedonia, and by you to be aided on my journey to Yehudah.
17 Having therefore this purpose, did I act lightly? Or the things that I proposed, did I propose them according to the flesh, so that with me there will be “yes, yes” and “no, no”?
18 But as Elohim is trustworthy, our word to you is not yes and no.
19 For the Son of Elohim, YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach, Who was preached among you by us; by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yes and no, but in Him is yes!
20 For all the promises of Elohim in Him are yes; and in Him, Amen, to the glory of Elohim by us!
21 Now He Who establishes us with you in Messiah, and anointed us, is Elohim,
22 Who also sealed us, and gave us the security of The Holy Spirit in our hearts.
23 But I call Elohim as witness to my soul, that to spare you I have not as yet come to Corinth;
24 not that we lord over your faith, but we are laborers for your joy; for in your faith you stand firm.

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 2

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 2

But I determined this myself, that I would not come again to you in sorrow,
2 for if I cause you sorrow, who then makes me glad, but the one whom I made sorrowful?
3 And I wrote this very thing to you, so that when I came, I would not have sorrow from those of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is of you all.
4 For out of much tribulation and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears, not so that you would be grieved, but that you might know the love which I have more abundantly for you.
5 But if any have caused grief, they have not grieved me, but in part; that I may not overcharge you all.
6 Sufficient for such a one is this punishment by the majority,
7 so that on the contrary you should rather forgive and comfort, otherwise such a one might be drowned by excessive sorrow.
8 Wherefore I urge you to confirm your love for him,
9 for to this end also I wrote, so that I might know, by putting you to the test, whether you are obedient in all things.
10 But to whom you forgive anything, I also, for if I forgave anything, to whom I forgave, was for your sake in the presence of Messiah,
11 so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan.  For we are not ignorant of his devices.
12 Now when I came to Troas for the gospel of Messiah, and a door was opened unto me by the Master,
13 I had no rest for my spirit, because I did not find my brother Titus; but taking my leave of them, I went on to Macedonia.
14 But thanks be to Elohim, Who always gives us the victory in Messiah, and makes manifest the sweet aroma of His knowledge through us in every place.
15 For we are unto Elohim a sweet fragrance of Messiah, among those who are saved, and among those who perish;
16 to the one an aroma of death unto death, and to the other an aroma of life unto life.  And who is sufficient for these things?
17 For we are not like many who sell the word of Elohim, but as from sincerity, but as from Elohim, in the sight of Elohim, we speak in Messiah.

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 3

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 3

Do we begin again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as some, letters of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
2 You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all mankind;
3 manifestly declared to be the letter of Messiah served by us; written not with ink, but with The Holy Spirit of the Living Elohim; not on tablets of stone, but on the fleshly tablets of the heart.
4 And such confidence we have through Messiah toward Elohim.
5 Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to think anything as coming from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from Elohim,
6 Who also made us able servants of the new covenant; not of the letter, but of The Spirit, for the letter kills, but The Holy Spirit gives life.
7 But if the ministry of death, written in letters engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not gaze intently at the face of Moses, because of the glory of his face, fading as it was,
8 how will the ministry of The Holy Spirit fail to be even more glorious?
9 For if the ministry of condemnation has glory, much more does the ministry of righteousness exceed in glory.
10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory, because of the glory that exceeds it.
11 For if that which is done away with was glorious; much more that which remains is glorious.
12 Seeing then that we have such a hope, we use great confidence in our speech,
13 and are not like Moses, who put a veil over his face, so that the children of Israel could not gaze intently at the end of what was fading away.
14 But their minds were blinded; for until this day there remains the same veil at the reading of the old covenant, which is made void in Messiah.
15 But to this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart;
16 but whenever a person turns to the Master, the veil is taken away.
17 Now the Master is Spirit, and where The Spirit of the Master is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with unveiled faces, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Master, are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from The Spirit of the Master.

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 4

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 4

Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not weary,
2 but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or deceitfully handling the word of Elohim; but by the manifestation of truth, commending ourselves to every person’s conscience in the sight of Elohim.
3 But if our gospel is hidden, it is hidden from those who perish,
4 in whom the deity of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Messiah, Who is the image of Elohim, should shine unto them.
5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Messiah YEHOSHUA as Master, and ourselves as your servants for YEHOSHUA’ sake.
6 For Elohim, Who commanded the light to shine out of the darkness, has shined in our hearts, to the Light of the knowledge of the glory of Elohim in the face of YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellency of the power will be of Elohim, and not of us.
8 We are in tribulation on every side, but we are not distressed; perplexed, but not despairing;
9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;
10 always carrying about in the body the dying of Master YEHOSHUA, so that the life also of YEHOSHUA might be made manifest in our body.
11 For we who live are always delivered unto death for YEHOSHUA’ sake, so that the life of YEHOSHUA also may be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12 So then death works in us, but life in you.
13 But having The same Spirit of faith according to what is written, “I believed, therefore I spoke,” we also believe, therefore we also speak, 1
14 knowing that He Who raised up Master YEHOSHUA will raise us up also with YEHOSHUA, and will present us with you.
15 For all things are for your sake, so that the abounding grace might through the thanksgiving of many, increase to the glory of Elohim.
16 Therefore we weary not, but though our outer self is decaying, yet our inner self is being renewed day by day.
17 For our light tribulations, which are but for a moment, work for us a far more exceeding eternal weight of glory;
18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 5

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 5

For we know that if the earthly house of this body is destroyed, we have a building from Elohim; a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly longing to be clothed with our house, which is from heaven,
3 if indeed, by so being clothed, we shall not be found naked.
4 For while we are in this body we groan, being burdened, not that we do not want to be unclothed, but to be clothed, so that mortality will be swallowed up by life.
5 Now He Who made us for this very purpose is Elohim, Who also has given to us The Holy Spirit as a pledge.
6 Therefore, always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Master,
7 for we walk by faith not by sight;
8 we are confident, and prefer rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Master.
9 Therefore we labor, so that whether present or absent, we might be well-pleasing unto Him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, so that each one may receive of the things done in the body, according to whatever we have done, whether good or bad.
11 Knowing therefore the fear of the Master, we persuade mankind, but we are made manifest to Elohim; and I trust also that we are made manifest in your consciences.
12 For we are not again commending ourselves to you, but are giving you occasion to rejoice on our behalf, so that you will have an answer for those who glory in appearance and not in heart.
13 For if we are beside ourselves, it is for Elohim; or if we are of sound mind, it is for you,
14 for the love of Messiah constrains us, having concluded this:  That if one died for all, then all are dead;
15 and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live unto themselves, but unto Him Who died for them, and rose again.
16 Therefore, from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh, even though we have known Messiah according to the flesh; yet now we know Him this way no more.
17 Therefore if anyone is in Messiah, they are a new creature; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
18 And all these things are from Elohim, Who reconciled us to Himself through YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 namely, that Elohim was in Messiah, reconciling the world unto Himself; not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Messiah, as though Elohim was urging you through us.  We petition you on Messiah’s behalf, be reconciled unto Elohim.
21 For He has made Him sin for us, Who knew no sin, so that we might be made the righteousness of Elohim in Him.

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 6

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 6

We then, working together with Him, urge you also to not receive the grace of Elohim in vain,
2 for He says, “At an acceptable time I heard you, and in a day of deliverance I have helped you.” Behold, now is “The acceptable time,” behold, now is “The day of deliverance”; 2
3 giving no offense in anything, so that the ministry will not be blamed.
4 But in all things, approving ourselves as the ministers of Elohim; in much patience, in need of necessities, in anguish,
5 in beatings, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fasting’s,
6 in pureness, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the The Holy Spirit, in genuine love,
7 in the word of truth, by the power of Elohim; by the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left;
8 by honor and dishonor; by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;
9 as unknown, yet well known; as dying, yet behold, we live; as punished, yet not put to death;
10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing all things.
11 O Corinthians, our mouth has spoken unto you; our heart is enlarged.
12 You are not restrained in us, but you are restrained in your own affections.
13 Now for a like exchange, I speak as to children;  You also be enlarged.
14 Do not be unequally bound with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? Or what communion has light with darkness?
15 Or what agreement has Messiah with Belial? Or what part has a believer in common with an infidel?
16 And what agreement has the temple of Elohim with idols? For we are the temple of the living Elohim; just as Elohim said, “I will dwell among them, and I will be their Elohim, and they will be My people.” 3
17 Therefore, “Go you out from there,” says the Master, “And touch nothing unclean, and I will welcome you;” 4
18 and, “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters unto Me,” says YEHOWAH Almighty.

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 7

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 7

Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of Elohim.
2 Receive us!  We have wronged no one; we have corrupted no one; we have defrauded no one.
3 I do not speak to condemn you, for I have said before that you are in our hearts to die and to live with.
4 Great is my confidence toward you; great is my boasting on your behalf.  I am filled with comfort; I abound with joy in all our tribulation.
5 For even when we came into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were afflicted on every side; striving without, fears within.
6 Nevertheless, Elohim, Who comforts those who are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus,
7 and not only by his coming, but by the comfort with which he was comforted in you, as he reported to us your earnest desire; your mourning; your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced even more.
8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not regret it, for I see that that letter has made you sorry, though only for a while.
9 I now rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that you were sorrowful unto repentance, for you were made sorry in a reverent manner, so that you might not suffer loss in anything through us.
10 For reverent sorrow that works according to Elohim, produces repentance unto salvation without regret.  But the sorrow of the world produces death.
11 For behold this same thing, that you were earnestly sorry with a reverent sorrow, which has produced in you the vindication of yourselves.  Yes, what indignation; yes, what reverence; yes, what longing; yes, what zeal and avenging of wrong!  In everything you have approved yourselves, and are innocent in this matter.
12 So although I wrote to you, it was not because he had done this wrong, nor because he suffered wrong, but that our care for you, in the sight of Elohim, might be manifest to you.
13 For this reason we have been comforted.  And besides our comfort, we rejoiced even more for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all.
14 For if I have boasted of anything to him about you, I am not shamed; but as we spoke all things to you in truth, so also our boasting before Titus is found to be the truth.
15 And his affection abounds all the more toward you, as he remembers the obedience of you all; how with fear and trembling you received him.
16 I rejoice therefore, that I have confidence in you in all things.

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 8

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 8

Now, brethren, we wish to make known to you the grace of Elohim bestowed upon the churches of Macedonia:
2 How that in a great trial of affliction, the abundance of their joy, and their deep poverty, abounded unto the riches of their liberality.
3 For according to their ability, and even beyond their ability, I testify that they gave of their own accord,
4 urging us and imploring that we receive their gift, allowing their participation in the support of the saints;
5 and not as we had expected, but first they gave their own selves unto the Master, and unto us by the will of Elohim.
6 Insomuch that we urged Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace as well.
7 Therefore, as you abound in everything; in faith, and utterance; and knowledge; and in all diligence; and in your love unto us; abound in this grace also.
8 I am speaking not as by commandment, but by the zeal of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.
9 For you know the grace of our Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach, that though He was rich, yet for our sake He became poor, so that we, through His poverty, might become rich.
10 And I offer my opinion in this matter:  For this is expedient for you, who were the first to begin a year ago, not only to do this, but also to desire to do it.
11 Now therefore finish the doing, so that just as there was a readiness to will it, so now also the finishing of that which you have;
12 for if there is a willingness, it is acceptable according to that which a person has, not according to what they do not have.
13 For this is not in order that there be ease for others and for you distress,
14 but by way of equality, so that at this time your abundance, being a supply for their need, so that their abundance also may be a supply for your need, that there may be equality:
15 As it is written, “Those who gathered much had no excess, and those who gathered little had no lack.” 6
16 But thanks be unto Elohim, Who puts the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you,
17 for he not only accepted our exhortation, but being more forward, of his own accord he went to you.
18 And we have sent along with him the brother, whose fame in the gospel has spread throughout all the churches.
19 And not only this, but he was also chosen by the churches to travel with us in this grace, which is administered by us unto the glory of the same Master, and to show your readiness;
20 avoiding this, that no one should discredit us in our administration of this abundant gift;
21 providing for honest needs, not only in the sight of the Master, but also in the sight of mankind.
22 And we have sent with them our brother whom has often been proven diligent in many things, but now even more diligent, because of our great confidence in you.
23 Regarding Titus:  He is my partner and fellow worker among you.  As for our brethren, they are messengers of the churches; a glory unto Messiah.
24 Therefore show of yourselves unto them, and unto the churches, the proof of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf.

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 9

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 9

For it is excessive for me to write to you about this ministry to the saints,
2 for I know your readiness, of which I boast about you to those of Macedonia:  That Achaia was ready a year ago, and your zeal has stimulated most of them.
3 But I have sent the brethren, so that our boasting about you may not be in vain in this respect, so that, as I said, you might be ready,
4 unless somehow those of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared; we (that we say not, you) would be ashamed in this same confident boasting.
5 Therefore I thought it necessary to urge the brethren, so that they would go before you, and arrange beforehand your previously announced bounty, so that the same would be ready as a blessing, and not as of covetousness.
6 Now this I say, those who sow sparingly will also reap sparingly, and those who sow bountifully will also reap bountifully.
7 Each one according as they proposed in their heart; not grudgingly, or of necessity, for Elohim loves a cheerful giver.
8 And Elohim is able to make all grace abound to you, so that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good word;
9 as it is written, “He has scattered abroad,” and, “They have given freely to the poor; their righteousness shall endure forever.” 7
10 Now He Who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, will multiply your seed for sowing and increase the fruit of your righteousness;
11 being enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes through us thanksgiving unto Elohim.
12 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but is abundant also through many thanksgivings unto Elohim;
13 because the proof of  this ministry is that they glorify Elohim for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Messiah, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all.
14 And they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the exceeding grace of Elohim in you.
15 Thanks unto Elohim for His unspeakable gift!

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 10

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 10

Now I, Paul, myself, urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Messiah, who in your presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you,
2 ask that when I am present, I need not be bold with the confidence with which I think to be bold against some, who think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh,
4 for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through Elohim to the pulling down of strong-holds;
5 destroying speculations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of Elohim, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Messiah;
6 and having a readiness to punish all disobedience, when your obedience is complete.
7 Do you look upon things as they are outwardly? If anyone is confident that they are Messiah’s, let them consider this again within themselves, that just as they are Messiah’s, so also are we.
8 For even if I boast somewhat more about our authority, which the Master has given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I will not be put to shame,
9 because I do not wish to seem as if I would terrify you by my letters.
10 For they say, “His letters are weighty and powerful, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.”
11 Let such a person consider this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such also are we in deed when we are present.
12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves, but when they measure themselves by themselves, and compare themselves among themselves, they are without understanding.
13 But we will not boast beyond our measure, but within the measure of the rule which Elohim has distributed to us; a measure to reach even unto you.
14 For we do not stretch ourselves beyond our measure, as if we did not reach to you, for we have come as far as you in the gospel of Messiah;
15 not boasting of things without measure, that is, in the labor of others, but with the hope that as your faith increases, that we will be enlarged abundantly by you according to our rule,
16 so as to preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in what has been accomplished by the hand of others.
17 But, “Let those that glory, glory in YEHOWAH;” 8
18 for it is not those who commend themselves that are approved, but those whom the Master commends.

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 11

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 11

O that Elohim would allow you to bear with me a little in my foolishness; but indeed you are bearing with me.
2 For I am jealous for you with a reverent jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, so that I might present you to Messiah as a chaste virgin.
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity and purity that is in Messiah.
4 For if one comes and preaches another YEHOSHUA, whom we have not preached, or you receive another spirit, which you have not received, or another gospel, which you have not accepted, you might honestly endure it.
5 For I suppose that I was not in the least inferior to the most eminent apostles.
6 But even if I am unlearned in speech, yet I am not in knowledge; but we have been thoroughly made manifest, in every way among you, in all things.
7 Or have I committed a sin in humbling myself so that you might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of Elohim freely?
8 I robbed other churches by taking wages from them to serve you,
9 and when I was present with you, and was in need, I was chargeable to no one, for that which was lacking to me, the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied.  And in all things I have kept myself from being a burden to you, and will continue to do so.
10 As the truth of Messiah is in me, no human shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
11 Why, because I do not love you? Elohim knows!
12 But what I do, I will likewise do, so that I may cut off opportunity from those who desire an opportunity; that in what they glory, they may be found even as we.
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves as apostles of Messiah.
14 And no wonder, for even Satan himself transforms into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his servants also are transformed as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
16 I say again, let no one think me a fool; but if you do, receive me even as a fool, so that I also may boast a little.
17 What I am saying, I am not saying as the Master would, but as it is in foolishness; in this confidence of boasting.
18 Since many boast according to the flesh, I will boast also.
19 For you bear fools gladly, being so wise.
20 For you bear it if anyone enslaves you, if anyone devours you, if anyone takes advantage of you, if anyone exalts themselves, if anyone strikes you in the face.
21 I speak concerning dishonor, as though we had been weak.  But in whatever anyone else is bold, I speak foolishly, I am bold also.
22 Are they Hebrew? So am I.  Are they Israelite? So am I.  Are they of the seed of Abraham? So am I.
23 Are they servants of Messiah? I speak as a fool, I more so; in more labors, in more stripes, in more imprisonments; often in danger of death.
24 Five times I received from the Yehudi thirty-nine lashes.
25 Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep.
26 In journeying often, in perils from rivers, perils from robbers, perils from my countrymen, perils from the Gentiles, perils in the city, perils in the wilderness, perils on the sea, perils among false brethren.
27 In labor and hardship, in frequent sleeplessness, in hunger and thirst, in frequent fasting’s, in cold and nakedness.
28 Beside those external things, there is that which comes upon me daily; the care of all the churches.
29 Who is weak without my being weak? Who stumbles without my concern?
30 If I must boast, I will boast of the things that concern my infirmities.
31 The El and Father of our Master YEHOSHUA, ha Mashiach, Who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.
32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king garrisoned the city of the Damascenes in order to seize me,
33 and through a window in a basket I was let down by the wall, and so escaped his hands.

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 12

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 12

It is not profitable for me to boast, although it is necessary.  So I will go on to visions and revelations of the Master.
2 I know a man in Messiah who fourteen years ago, whether in the body, I do not know, or whether out of the body, I do not know, Elohim knows; such a man was caught up to the third heaven.
3 And I know such a man, whether in the body, or out of the body, I do not know, Elohim knows;
4 was caught up into Paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which is not lawful for a man to speak.
5 Of such a man I will boast; yet of myself I will not boast, but in my infirmities.
6 For though I do wish to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth, but I refrain from this, so that no one should think of me more highly than that which they see in me, or hear from me.
7 And so that I might not be exalted, because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, that I might not be exalted.
8 Concerning this I called upon the Master three times, that it might leave me.
9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.”  Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast in my infirmities, so that the power of Messiah may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in insults, in persecutions, in distresses for Messiah’s sake, for when I am weak, then I am strong.
11 I have become a fool; you compelled me.  For I should have been commended by you, for in no respect am I inferior to the most eminent apostles, even though I am nothing.
12 Truly the signs of an apostle were performed among you in all patience, by signs, and wonders, and mighty works.
13 For in what way were you treated as inferior to the other churches, except that I myself did not become a burden to you? Forgive me this wrong!
14 Behold, this third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be a burden to you, for I do not seek what is yours, but you.  For the children are not responsible to save for their parents, but the parents for their children.
15 And I will most gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more I love you, the less I am loved.
16 But be that as it may, I did not burden you.  Nevertheless, being crafty, I took you by guile.
17 Did I make a gain of you through any of those whom I have sent to you?
18 I urged Titus to go, and I sent the brother with him.  Did Titus make a gain from you? Did we not walk in the same Spirit? Did we not walk in the same steps?
19 Again, do you think that we are making excuses for ourselves unto you? We speak before Elohim in Messiah, but we do all things, beloved, for your edification.
20 For I fear, unless when I come, I shall not find you to be as I expect, and that I should be found by you, to be such as you do not expect.  And that perhaps there will be strife, envy, wrath, angry tempers, backbiting, slander, arrogance, tumults;
21 and lest, when I come again, my Elohim will humble me among you, and I shall mourn over many of those who have already sinned, and not repented of the uncleanness, and fornication, and filthiness, which they have practiced.

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 13

2 CORINTHIANS:  CHAPTER 13

This is the third time I am coming to you.  Through the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
2 I told you before, and foretell you now, as if I were present again, but being absent now I write to those who have sinned in the past, and to all the others, that if I come again, I will not spare anyone,
3 since you seek a proof of Messiah speaking in me, and Who is not weak toward you, but mighty in you.
4 For though He was crucified through weakness, yet He lives because of the power of Elohim; for we also are weak in Him.  But we will live with Him, because of the power of Elohim toward you.
5 Examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith; prove yourselves!  Or do you not know that YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach is in you; unless indeed you are rejected?
6 But I trust that you will know that we ourselves are not rejected.
7 Now we pray to Elohim that you do no evil; not that we ourselves should appear approved, but that you should do what is right, even though we may appear to be rejected.
8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.
9 For we rejoice when we ourselves are weak but you are strong; and this we also pray, that you be perfected.
10 For this reason I write these things while absent, so that when present I need not use the authority, which the Master has given to me for building up and not for tearing down.
11 Finally, brethren, rejoice!  Be perfected; be of good comfort; be of one mind; live in peace and the Elohim of love and peace will be with you.
12 Greet one another with a holy kiss.
13 All the saints greet you.
14 The grace of our Master YEHOSHUA ha Mashiach, and the love of Elohim, and the fellowship of the The Holy Spirit, be with you all.  Amen!
