Old Covenant

Books of the Old Covenant – The Exalted Name Bible™ Edition (ENB).

I have no doubt that as you read thru this edition of Scripture, you are going to see similarities between passages found in either the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, the New King James Version (NKJV) of the Bible, The New American Standard Bible (NASB or NASV) Versions of the Bible, or any number of other Common Versions of the English Bibles that are in print today.

That does not mean, however, that I have plagiarized any existing edition of Scripture.

The simple truth of the matter is that thru careful analysis of the Hebrew wording, coupled with a tremendous amount of simple word by word searching and investigation, this editor entered into The Exalted Name Bible™ the best interpretation of those words that I found (to the best of my understanding).  In many instances you will see where The Exalted Name Bible™ reads exactly like any edition of those Common Versions of the Bible, but all that means is that I absolutely refused to add a word or two, or subtract or change (manipulate) a word or two, just to insure that any particular passage did not mimic something that was already written. If they also got it right, it should not need to be changed on a “Just Because” basis!  The Exalted Name Bible™ is not a “Just Because” piece of work!

We are discussing the Word of Elohim here, not some piece of fiction.  So, if any other Bible version is believed to be correct in their interpretation, I stuck with what I knew was right, and submitted the absolute cleanest rendition of the inspired Word that I could see. Therefore, there are similarities between the ENB and other versions of Scripture.

On the other hand, I also found many (and I do mean many) verses throughout the whole of Scripture, where what I was reading and interpreting, had absolutely NOTHING in common with what is entered in those Common Versions of the Bible. In those instances I stuck with the interpretation as I saw it.  The last ten years have not been spent copying and pasting passages from the Common Versions of Bibles that already existed.

Finally, let it also be understood that The Exalted Name Bible™ has at least twelve thousand (12,000) extremely significant changes from any of the Common Versions of Scripture. Entry of The Exalted Name, YEHOWAH, into this work, and the elimination of the phrase, “The LORD”, is a massive repair to a very old deed, and entry of the correct name of our Messiah, YEHOSHUA, which means: YEHOWAH’S DELIVERER, because He came in His Father’s Name, adds significantly to those repairs.  Yet these changes are only two of the restorations made within The Exalted Name Bible™.  As you venture through these pages  you will see many thousands of names, titles and expressions restored; all with the sole intent of Exalting, Glorifying and Honoring That Name which is to be praised, honored and adored above all other names.

May you be richly blessed as you witness The Exalted Name of YEHOWAH coming alive in your heart through the shed blood and Witness of His Son, YEHOSHUA the Messiah!

Sincerely and wholeheartedly I submit the Old Covenant to you for His Glory,

Lawrence T. (Larry) Vosen, Ph.D.
