ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 1

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 1

In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, the Word of YEHOWAH came unto Zechariyeh the prophet, the son of Berechiyeh, the son of Iddo saying,
2 “YEHOWAH is very enraged with your fathers.
3 Therefore say unto them, ‘Thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, “Return to Me,” says YEHOWAH of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says YEHOWAH of hosts.
4 “Be not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets cried out, saying, ‘Thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, “Turn now from your evil ways, and from your evil deeds.”’  But they did not hear or heed Me,” says YEHOWAH.
5 “Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever?
6 But My Words and My statutes, which I commanded My servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? Then they returned and said, ‘As YEHOWAH of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so He has dealt with us.’”
7 On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the Word of YEHOWAH came unto Zechariyeh the prophet, the son of Berechiyeh, the son of Iddo, saying,
8 “I saw by night, and behold, a man riding on a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees, which were in the hollow, and behind him were red horses, speckled and white.”
9 Then I said, “O lord, what are these?” And the messenger that talked with me said unto me, “I will show you what these are.”
10 And the man standing among the myrtle trees answered and said, “These are those whom YEHOWAH has sent to walk to and fro through the earth.”
11 And they answered the messenger of YEHOWAH who stood among the myrtle trees and said, “We have walked to and fro through the earth, and behold, all the earth is still, and is at rest.”
12 Then the messenger of YEHOWAH cried out and said, “O YEHOWAH of hosts, how long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem, and on the cities of Yehudah, with which You have had indignation these seventy years?”
13 And YEHOWAH answered the messenger that talked with me with good words; comforting words.
14 So the messenger that talked with me said to me, “Cry out, saying, ‘Thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, “I am jealous for Jerusalem and Zion with a great jealousy.
15 But I am wrathfully displeased with the nations who are at ease, for while I was a little displeased, they helped forward the affliction.”
16 Therefore, thus says YEHOWAH, “I will return to Jerusalem with compassion.  My house will be built in it,” says YEHOWAH of hosts, “and a line will be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.
17 Cry yet, saying, ‘Thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, “My cities will yet overflow with prosperity, and YEHOWAH will yet comfort Zion, and will yet choose Jerusalem.”’”
18 Then I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, four horns.
19 And I said unto the messenger that talked with me, “What are these?” And he answered, “These are the horns that have scattered Yehudah, Israel and Jerusalem.”
20 And YEHOWAH showed me four carpenters.
21 And I said, “What have these come to do?” And He spoke, saying, “These are the horns that have scattered Yehudah, so that no man lifts up his head, but these have come to frighten them; to cast out the horns of the nations, which have lifted up their horns against the land of Yehudah, to scatter it.”

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 2

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 2

I lifted up my eyes again, and looked, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.
2 Then I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its breadth, and what is its length.”
3 And behold, the messenger that talked with me went forth, and another messenger went out to meet him
4 and said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying, ‘Jerusalem will be inhabited without walls, because of the multitude of people and cattle within it,
5 for I,’ says YEHOWAH, ‘will be a wall of fire round about her, and I will be the Glory in her midst.
6 Woe!  Woe!  Flee from the land of the north,’ says YEHOWAH, ‘for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of heaven,’” says YEHOWAH.
7 “Deliver yourself, O Zion that dwells with the daughter of Babylon.”
8 For thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, “After the glory, has He sent Me against the nations that spoiled you, for those who touch you, touch the apple of His eye.
9 For behold, I will shake My hand over them, and they will be a spoil to their servants. Then you will know that YEHOWAH of hosts has sent Me.
10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; lo, I come, and I will dwell in your midst,” says YEHOWAH.
11 “And many nations will cleave unto YEHOWAH on that day, and shall be My people; and I will dwell in your midst, and you will know that YEHOWAH of hosts has sent Me unto you.
12 And YEHOWAH will inherit Yehudah as His portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.
13 Be silent, all flesh, before YEHOWAH, for He is raised up out of His holy habitation.”

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 3

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 3

Then he showed me Yehshua the high priest standing before the messenger of YEHOWAH, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.
2 And YEHOWAH said to Satan, “YEHOWAH rebuke you, Satan!  YEHOWAH that has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you!  Is not this a brand plucked from the fire?”
3 Now Yehshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the messenger.
4 And He answered and spoke to those that stood before Him, saying, “Remove the filthy garments from him.” And unto him He said, “Behold, I have taken your iniquity away from you, and I will clothe you with a change of raiment.”
5 And I said, “Let them put a pure turban on his head.”  So they put a pure turban on his head, and clothed him with garments, and the messenger of YEHOWAH stood by.
6 And the messenger of YEHOWAH testified unto Yehshua, saying,
7 “Thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, ‘If you will walk in My ways, and if you will keep My ordinances, then you will also judge My house, and keep My courts, and I will give you places to walk among these that stand by.
8 Hear now, O Yehshua the high priest, you and your associates that sit before you; for these men are a sign, for behold, I am going to bring in My servant, Branch.
9 For behold, the stone that I have laid before Yehshua; upon one stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will carve an inscription upon it,’ says YEHOWAH of hosts, ‘and I will remove the iniquity of the land in one day.
10 In that day,’ says YEHOWAH of hosts, ‘you will call every one of you their neighbor to sit under the vine and under the fig tree.’”

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 4

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 4

And the messenger that talked with me came again, and awakened me, as anyone is awakened out of their sleep,
2 and said unto me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see, and behold, a lamp-stand all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and seven lamps thereon, with seven tubes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top of it,
3 and two olive trees by it; one on the right side of the bowl, and the other on the left side of it.”
4 So I answered and said to the messenger that talked with me, saying, “What are these, lord?”
5 And the messenger who talked with me answered and said unto me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, lord.”
6 Then he answered and spoke unto me saying, “This is the Word of YEHOWAH to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says YEHOWAH of hosts.
7 Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain, and he will bring forth the headstone with shouts of, “Grace!  Grace!’”
8 Moreover the Word of YEHOWAH came unto me, saying,
9 “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will also finish it.  And you will know that YEHOWAH of hosts has sent Me to you.
10 For who has despised the day of small things? For they will rejoice, and will see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.  And these seven are the eyes of YEHOWAH, which walk to and fro throughout the whole earth.”
11 Then I asked, saying to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right of the lampstand, and on its left?”
12 And I asked again, and said, “What are the two olive branches, through which the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out from themselves?”
13 And he answered me, saying, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”
14 Then he said, “These are the two anointed ones who stand by Adonay of the whole earth.”

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 5

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 5

Then I turned, and lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold, a flying scroll.
2 And he said unto me, “What do you see?” And I answered, “I see a flying scroll; its length twenty cubits, and its width ten cubits.”
3 Then he said to me, “This is the curse that goes forth over the face of the whole earth. For everyone who steals will be cut off on this side according to it, and everyone that swears will be cut off on that side according to it.
4 I will bring it forth,” says YEHOWAH of hosts, “and it will enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of the one who swears falsely by My name; and it will remain in the midst of that house, and will consume it with its timber and its stones.”
5 Then the messenger that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, “Lift up now your eyes, and see what this is that goes forth.”
6 And I said, “What is it?” And he said, “This is a measuring cup that goes forth.” Again he said, “This is their resemblance through all the earth.
7 And behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead; and also a woman sitting in the midst of the measuring cup.”
8 And he said, “This is Wickedness!”  And he cast her into the middle of the measuring cup, and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth of it.
9 And lifting up my eyes and looking, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings, like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the measuring cup between the earth and the heavens.
10 And I said to the messenger that talked with me, “Where are they taking the measuring cup?”
11 And he said unto me, “To build a house in the land of Shinar.  And it will be established, and set there upon its own base.”

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 6

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 6

And I turned, and lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, four chariots came forth from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of copper.
2 The first chariot had red horses, the second chariot black horses,
3 the third chariot white horses, and the fourth chariot grizzled and bay horses.
4 And I said to the messenger who talked with me, “What are these, lord?”
5 And the messenger answered and said to me, “These are four Spirit’s of the heavens, Who proceed from the presence of Adonay of all the earth.
6 The black horses go forth to the North Country; and the white go forth after them; and the bay go forth to the South Country.
7 And the grizzled went forth, and sought to go, that they might go to and fro throughout the earth,” and He said, “Go to and fro throughout the earth.” So they wandered the earth.
8 Then He cried out to me and spoke to me saying, “Behold, those going forth to the North Country have calmed My anger against the North Country.”
9 And the word of YEHOWAH came unto me, saying,
10 “Take of those of the captivity; even of Heldayeh, Tobiyeh and Yedaiyeh, who have come from Babylon, and go the same day into the house of Yosiyeh the son of Zephaniyeh;
11 then take silver and gold, and make a crown, and set it upon the head of Yehshua the son of Yehzadak, the high priest.
12 And speak unto him, saying ‘Thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, “Behold, a man whose name is Branch; He will branch out from His place, and He will build the temple of YEHOWAH.
13 He will build the temple of YEHOWAH, and He will bear the glory, and will sit and rule upon His throne, and He will be a priest upon His throne.  And the counsel of peace will be between them.
14 And the crown will be to Heldayeh, and to Tobiyeh, and to Yedaiyeh, and to Hen the son of Zephaniyeh, for a memorial in the temple of YEHOWAH.
15 And those far off will come and build the temple of YEHOWAH, and you will know that YEHOWAH of hosts has sent Me to you.  And this will come to pass if you diligently obey the voice of YEHOWAH your Elohim.”

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 7

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 7

And it came to pass in the fourth year of King Darius, the word of YEHOWAH came to Zechariyeh on the fourth day of the ninth month; Kislev,
2 when they had sent unto Beth-el Sharezer and Regem-Melech, and their men, to pray before YEHOWAH,
3 and to speak unto the priests, which were in the house of YEHOWAH of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, “Will I weep in the fifth month, and abstain, as I have done these many years?”
4 Then the Word of YEHOWAH of hosts came to me, saying,
5 “Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months for these seventy years, did you at all fast unto Me, even Me?
6 And when you did eat, and when you did drink, did you not eat and drink for yourselves?
7 Are not these the Words which YEHOWAH proclaimed by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and prosperous, and the cities round about her; when the South Country and the foothills were inhabited?’“
8 And the Word of YEHOWAH came to Zechariyeh saying,
9 “Thus speaks YEHOWAH of hosts, saying, ‘Execute true justice, and show mercy and compassion everyone to their brethren,
10 and oppress not the widow, or the fatherless, or the stranger, or the poor, and do not plot evil in your hearts against another.’
11 But they refused to listen, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.
12 And they made their hearts an adamant stone, lest they should hear the Law, and the Words, which YEHOWAH of hosts sent in His Spirit by the former prophets.  Therefore came great wrath from YEHOWAH of hosts;
13 therefore it is come to pass, as He called, and they would not hear, so they cried, and I would not hear,” says YEHOWAH of hosts.
14 “But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they did not known.  Thus the land was desolate thereafter, so that no one passed through or returned; for they laid the pleasant land desolate.”

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 8

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 8

Again the Word of YEHOWAH of hosts came, saying,
2 “Thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, ‘I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great wrath.’
3 Thus says YEHOWAH, ‘I will return to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem, and Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth; and the mountain of YEHOWAH of hosts the Holy Mountain.’
4 Thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, ‘There will yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, each one with a staff in hand because of age.
5 And the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing in its streets.’
6 Thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, ‘If it seems wonderful in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, will it also be wonderful in My eyes?’ says YEHOWAH of hosts.
7 Thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, ‘Behold, I will save My people from the East Country, and from the West Country,
8 and I will bring them, and they will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem.  And they will be My people, and I will be their Elohim, in truth and in righteousness.’
9 Thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, ‘Let your hands be strong, you that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets; who in the day that the foundation of the house of YEHOWAH of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
10 For before those days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to those that went out or came in, because of the affliction, for I set all mankind against their neighbor.
11 But now I will not be unto this remnant of this people as in the former days,’ says YEHOWAH of hosts,
12 ‘for the seed will be prosperous.  The vine will yield its fruit, the land will yield its increase, and the heavens will give their dew, and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these.
13 And it will come to pass, that as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Yehudah, and house of Israel, so will I save you, and you will become a blessing.  Fear not; let your hands be strong,’
14 for thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, ‘As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked Me to wrath,’ says YEHOWAH of hosts, ‘and I relented not,
15 so again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and unto the house of Yehudah.  Fear not!
16 These are the things you will do:  Everyone speak the truth to your neighbor; execute the justice of truth and peace in your gates.
17 And let none of you plot evil in your heart against your neighbor; and do not love a false oath, for all these things I hate,’ says YEHOWAH.”
18 And the Word of YEHOWAH of hosts came unto me, saying,
19 “Thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, ‘The fast of the fourth, the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh and the fast of the tenth months will be joy to the house of Yehudah, and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love truth and peace.’
20 Thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, ‘Yet again there will come people; the inhabitants of many cities.
21 And the inhabitants of one city will go to another, saying, “Let us go speedily to pray before YEHOWAH, and to seek YEHOWAH of hosts; I will go also.”
22 Yes, many people and mighty nations will come to seek YEHOWAH of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before YEHOWAH.’
23 Thus says YEHOWAH of hosts, ‘In those days ten people from all the languages of the nations will take hold of the garment of a child of Yehudah, and say, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that Elohim is with you.”’”

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 9

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 9

“The burden of the Word of YEHOWAH to the land of Hadrach and Damascus; the rest of it, when the eyes of mankind, as of all the tribes of Israel, are toward YEHOWAH,
2 and Hamath also, which borders thereby; Tyre and Sidon, though very wise.
3 For Tyre built a strong-hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets.
4 Behold, Adonay will cast her out, and will strike her power in the sea, and she will be devoured with fire.
5 Ashkelon will see and fear; Gaza too will be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation will be ashamed, and the king will perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon will not be inhabited.
6 And bastards will dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.
7 And I will take away the blood from their mouth, and the abominations from between their teeth.  And those that remain, even they will be for our Elohim, and He will be as Governor in Yehudah, and Ekron will be as a Jebusite.
8 And I will encamp round about My house as an army, because of those that turn back. And no oppressor will pass through them again, for now I have seen with My eyes.
9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!  Make a joyful noise, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you.  He is just and brings deliverance; lowly, and riding upon an ass; a colt, the foal of an ass.
10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; and the bow of war will be cut off.  And He will speak peace to the nations, and His dominion will be from sea to sea; from the river to the ends of the earth.
11 As for you also, by the blood of the covenant, I have sent forth your prisoners from the waterless pit.
12 Turn back to the stronghold, O prisoners of hope; even today do I declare that I will render double unto you;
13 when I have bent Yehudah, and have filled My bow with Ephraim, and raised up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and made you as the mighty sword of a mighty warrior.
14 And YEHOWAH will be seen over them, and His arrow will go forth as lightning, and Adonay YEHOWAH will blow the trumpet, and will go with the whirlwinds of the south.
15 YEHOWAH of hosts will defend them, and they will devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they will drink, and make noise, as with wine; and they will be filled like bowls, as the corners of the altar.
16 And YEHOWAH their Elohim will save them in that day as the flock of His people, for they will be as stones of a crown lifted up as an ensign upon His land.
17 For how great is His goodness, and how great is His beauty!  Grain will make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maidens.”

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 10

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 10

“Ask of YEHOWAH rain in the time of the latter rain; YEHOWAH will make the bright clouds, and will give showers of rain to all plants of the field.
2 For the idols speak iniquity, and the diviners see lies, and tell false dreams; they comfort in vain.  Therefore the flock wanders in distress, because there is no shepherd.
3 My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the goats, for YEHOWAH of hosts has visited His flock; the house of Yehudah, and will make them as His majestic horse in battle;
4 from Him will come forth the cornerstone; from Him the tent peg; from Him the bow for battle; from Him every ruler together.
5 And they will be as warriors, treading down the enemy in the mire of the streets in battle; and they will fight, for YEHOWAH will be with them; and the riders on horses will be confounded.
6 And I will strengthen the house of Yehudah, and I will save the house of Yehseph, and I will bring them back, for I have mercy upon them.  And they will be as though I had not cast them off, for I am YEHOWAH their Elohim, and I will hear them.
7 Ephraim will be like a valiant warrior, and their heart will rejoice as if from wine.  And their children will see and be glad; their heart will rejoice in YEHOWAH.
8 I will whistle for them, and will gather them, for I have redeemed them, and they will multiply as they had multiplied before.
9 And I will plant them among the people, and they will speak of Me in far countries, and they will live with their children, and come back.
10 I will bring them again out of the land of Egypt and gather them out of Assyria, and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon, until no space can be found for them.
11 And they will pass through the sea of affliction, and will strike the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river will dry up.  And the pride of Assyria will be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt will go away.
12 And I will strengthen them in YEHOWAH, and they will walk up and down in His Name,” says YEHOWAH.

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 11

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 11

“Open your doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour your cedars.
2 Howl, cypress, for the cedar has fallen, because the mighty are spoiled.  Howl, O oaks of Bashan, for the forest of the vintage is cast down.
3 There is a voice of howling from the shepherds, for their glory is spoiled; the voice of the roaring of young lions, for the pride of Jordan is laid waste.”
4 Thus says YEHOWAH Elohim, “Feed the flock of slaughter,
5 whose possessors slay them, and believe they are not guilty, and who sell them, saying, ‘Blessed be YEHOWAH, for I am rich.’  And their own shepherds have no pity on them.
6 For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land,” says YEHOWAH.  “But behold, I will deliver everyone into the hand of their neighbor and into the hand of their king; and they will strike the land, and out of their hands I will not deliver.
7 And I will feed the flock of slaughter; even the poor of the flock.”  And I took for Myself two staffs:  The one I called Beauty, and the other I called Union; so I fed the flock.
8 Three shepherds also I cut off in one month, and My soul loathed them; and their soul also abhorred Me.
9 Then I said, “I will not feed you.  That which dies, dies; and that which is cut off, let it be cut off; and let the remainder eat everyone the flesh of another.
10 And I took My staff Beauty and cut it in pieces, to break the covenant that I had made with all the people.
11 And it was broken on that day!  And so the poor of the flock that waited upon Me knew that it was the Word of YEHOWAH.
12 And I said unto them, “If this is good in your sight, give My price; and if not, do not!” So they weighed for My price thirty pieces of silver.
13 And YEHOWAH said to Me, “Cast to the potter that goodly price that I was valued by them.”  So I took the thirty pieces of silver and cast them to the potter in the house of YEHOWAH.
14 Then I cut in pieces My other staff, Union, to break the brotherhood between Yehudah and Israel.
15 And YEHOWAH said to Me, “Take again unto yourself the instruments of a foolish shepherd,
16 for behold, I will raise up a shepherd in the land who will not visit those being cut off, neither will he seek the young, nor heal what is broken, nor feed those which stand still. But he will eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
17 Woe to the worthless shepherd that leaves the flock!  The sword will be upon his arm, and upon his right eye.  His arm will be totally withered, and his right eye will be utterly dark.”

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 12

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 12

The burden of the Word of YEHOWAH for Israel:  Thus says YEHOWAH, Who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth and forms the spirit of man within him,
2 “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, and when the siege is against Yehudah, it will also be against Jerusalem.
3 And in that day I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the people; all that burden themselves with it will be cut in pieces, even though all the nations of the earth are gathered together against it.
4 In that day,” says YEHOWAH, “I will strike every horse with astonishment and its rider with madness.  And I will watch over the house of Yehudah, and will strike every horse of the people with blindness.
5 And the rulers of Yehudah will say in their hearts, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are our strength in YEHOWAH of hosts, their Elohim.’
6 In that day I will make the rulers of Yehudah like a hearth of fire among pieces of wood, and like a torch of flame among the sheaves, and they will consume all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left.  And Jerusalem will be inhabited again in her own place; in Jerusalem.
7 YEHOWAH will also save the tents of Yehudah first, that the glory of the house of David, and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, do not magnify themselves above Yehudah.
8 In that day YEHOWAH will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the one who is feeble among them in that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like Elohim, with the messenger of YEHOWAH before them.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 And I will pour out upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, The Spirit of grace and supplication.  And they will look upon Me Whom they have pierced, and they will mourn as one mourns for an only son, and they will be filled with grief, as one grieves over the death of a firstborn.
11 In that day there will be great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning of Hadad-rimmon on the plain of Megiddo.
12 And the land will mourn; every family alone.  The family of the house of David alone, and their wives alone.  The family of the house of Nathan alone, and their wives alone.
13 The family of the house of Levi alone, and their wives alone.  The family of Shimei alone, and their wives alone.
14 And all the families that remain, every family alone, and their wives alone.

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 13

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 13

In that day there will be a fountain opened to the house of David, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for impurity.”
2 “And it will come to pass in that day,” says YEHOWAH of hosts, “that I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they will be remembered no more, and I will also cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
3 And it will come to pass, that if anyone shall yet prophesy, then their father and their mother who begat them will say to them, ‘You will not live, for you are speaking lies in the Name of YEHOWAH’, and their father and mother who begat them will pierce them through when they prophesy.
4 And it will come to pass in that day, that the prophets will be ashamed, each one, of the vision of which they had prophesied, and they shall not wear a rough garment to deceive.
5 And they will say, ‘I am not a prophet, I am a herdsman, for I was taught this in my youth.’
6 And one will say to him, ‘What are these wounds on your hands?’ And he will answer, ‘I received these wounds in the house of my beloved.’
7 “Awake, O sword, against the shepherd, and against everyone that is My companion,” says YEHOWAH of hosts.  “Strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter; and I will turn My hand upon the little ones.
8 And it will come to pass in all the land,” says YEHOWAH, “that two parts therein will be cut off and die, but the third will be left in it.
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will test them as gold is tested.  They will call on My Name, and I will heed them, and I will say, ‘These are My people,’ And they will say, ‘YEHOWAH is my Elohim.’“

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 14

ZECHARIYEH:  CHAPTER 14

Behold, the day of YEHOWAH is coming, and the spoil will be divided in the midst of you.
2 “For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be taken, and the houses plundered, and the women raped, and half of the city will go forth into captivity, but the remainder of the people will not be cut off from the city.”
3 Then YEHOWAH will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle.
4 And His feet will stand that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem to the east, and the Mount of Olives will cleave in the middle of it toward the east, and toward the west, and there will be a great valley; and half of the mountain will move toward the north, and half of it will move toward the south.
5 And you will flee through the valley of mountains, for the valley of mountains will reach to Azal.  Yes, you will flee, like you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziyeh king of Yehudah.  Then YEHOWAH, my Elohim, will come, and the saints with Him!
6 And it will come to pass on that day that the light will be of no value; obscured.
7 It will be a unique day, known to YEHOWAH; neither day nor night.  But it will come to pass at evening time, it will be light.
8 And it will be on that day, living waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half toward the former sea and half toward the latter sea; and so it will be in summer and winter.
9 And YEHOWAH will be King over all the earth.  On that day there will be one YEHOWAH, and His Name shall be first.
10 And the land will be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem.  And it will be lifted up and inhabited in her place, from Benyehmin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s wine presses.
11 People will dwell in it, and there will be no more destruction, but Jerusalem will be safely inhabited.
12 And this will be the plague which YEHOWAH will strike all the people that fight against Jerusalem:  Their flesh will melt where they stand on their feet, and their eyes will melt in their sockets, and their tongue will melt in their mouth.
13 And it will come about on that day that a great confusion from YEHOWAH will fall upon them, and everyone will lay hold of their neighbor, and their hand will rise up against the hand of their neighbor.
14 And Yehudah also will fight for Jerusalem, and the wealth of all the nations everywhere will be gathered together; gold and silver and clothing in great abundance.
15 And so shall be the plague on the horse, the mule, the camel, the ass and all the beasts that shall be in these tents; as this plague.
16 And it will come to pass, that everyone remaining of all the nations that fought against Jerusalem will go up from year to year, to worship the King, YEHOWAH of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Booths.
17 And it will be that whoever will not come up of all the families of the earth to Jerusalem, to worship the King, YEHOWAH of hosts, upon them will no rain fall.
18 If the family of Egypt does not go up, and comes not, they will have no rain, and this will be the plague which YEHOWAH will smite the nations who do not come to keep the Feast of Booths.
19 And this will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all the nations who do not come to keep the Feast of Booths.
20 In that day, upon the horses will be bells, “SACRED UNTO YEHOWAH.”  And the pots in YEHOWAH’S house will be like the bowls before the altar.
21 Every pot in Jerusalem and in Yehudah will be sacred unto YEHOWAH of hosts, and all that sacrifice will come and use them, and boil in them.  And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of YEHOWAH of hosts.
