About the Author - Early Education

About the Author – Early Education:

About the Author  Following eight years in an extremely academic private “Catholic” school, I attended the largest public High School in the greater Cleveland area.  At 16, due to difficulties at school and home, I aggressively sought and obtained my GED (High School Equivalency Diploma), extracting myself from a spiraling situation.

At the same time, I was also formally “Emancipated”, permitting my immediate enlistment into the U.S. Army.  I physically entered active duty on March, 7, 1966.  I was 17 years old.

About the Author - Military

About the Author – Military:

About the Author  Following all stateside training, I served 11 months in Germany before being sent to Vietnam, in the Spring of 1967.

In Vietnam I served with the Army’s Fifth Special Forces Group – for seventeen months.  After twelve months at the 5th Special Forces Group Headquarters in Nha Trang, Vietnam, I was transferred to the most remote Special Forces A-Team outpost in the Central Highlands of Vietnam.

The A-team camp site and nomenclature was: Dak-Pek (A-242).  I served in Dak-Pek for five months, departing Vietnam a mere forty days shy of my 20th birthday.  I received an honorable discharge on November, 20, 1968, and immediately returned home to Cleveland.

About the Author - Statement of Faith:

About the Author – Statement of Faith:

About the Author - Statement of Faith:  Our Messiah became personally known to me in the Spring of 1979, thru my reading of His Word; the Bible.  I was baptized in the Summer of 1979, and I dedicated my life to Him at that time.

Noteworthy of my walk with Him though, is that from the moment of my declaration of faith, and baptism in 1979, my worldly work-career has seen three very unique, 3-year periods of “Downsizing, Unemployment and Advanced Education (at Father’s knee)”.

As I sought employment during those three, 3-year periods, I also relentlessly studied Scripture (upward of 18 hours per day).

While those three periods of unemployment were financially taxing for us, more importantly, they were also very spiritually profitable and uplifting.

Miraculously, the bills were always paid, food was always on our table, clothes were always on our backs, and warm beds, in dry and safe homes, were always available…

Our Heavenly Father’s provision was always ample, though, and we remain extremely grateful and very thankful for His miraculous provision – extending to this very day!

About the Author - Three Primary Driving Factors in my Faith-Walk:

About the Author – Three Primary Driving Factors in my Faith-Walk:

About the Author  There are three primary facts that any reader should know about me, because these three points explain a great deal about my personality; my drive, and how our Father has used those “drives”, to bring about the work(s) you are reading today:

Fact  Fact 1:  I am an individual of faith, but not by the hand of any man.  I came to know Yehoshua solely thru the Word of Elohim (God); solely thru Scripture, the Bible.

As you have already read, I found the Master in 1979, and this occurred on my third successive reading thru the Bible!  Although I was “provoked” by a co-worker into reading Scripture (for the first time ever in my life) I was led to the Messiah solely thru His Word.

No man ‘converted’ me, and no man can claim that they “Led me to Jesus”.  I treasure this truth in my heart, because I KNOW firsthand, that He loved and chose me first!  I did not set-out to find Him, and although I never ‘hated’ or ‘disliked’ Him, I did not love Him either.  He loved me though, and He showed His love daily as I read and studied…

Truly, during my three, 3-year periods of unemployment, and my resulting studies, the very Word of Elohim itself leapt into my heart, soul and spirit, and the Messiah Personally touched me at the very deepest levels of my existence!

And, ever since the moment of my ‘rebirth’, I have studied the Bible on a word-by-word basis, using multiple Bible translations and their respective concordances, as I have searched for the fullness of His truth.

About the Author  The Scriptural translations I have used throughout the years, include:
Bible / writings used   New American Standard Bible (NASB)
Bible / writings used   King James Version (KJV)
Bible / writings used   New King James Version (NKJV)
Bible / writings used   New International Version (NIV).
Bible / writings used   I have also utilized the 1833 Webster, 1889 Darby and 1899 Douay-Rheims interpretations of the Old and New Covenants, and
Bible / writings used   Eventually I also explored both the (HOT) Hebrew Old Covenant (Tenach), and the 1894 Scrivener Textus Receptus for the New Covenant.

I am telling you this, because the intensity of my studies were conducted, and continue being conducted by me today, to insure that as a Teacher, I am not misunderstanding, misinterpreting or misrepresenting His Word in my presentations to you.

I hold this to be significant as well.

About the Author  Fact 2:  Furthermore, I think it is important that you know how sincerely I listen to, and attempt to grasp words and names.

For instance, from early in life I have listened as people pronounced their names, because I did not want to mispronounce that name when spoke with them, or when I repeated it.

I may not be able to put names and faces together very well, in the past, but once I hear a person pronounce their name, I strive to repeat that exact pronunciation.

I think that is respectful, don’t you?

About the Author  Fact 3:  Very early in my Bible studies, I recognized that the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible did not use the same “words” as the New American Standard Bible (NASB), which did not agree with the NIV version of Scripture.

In other words, NONE of the Bible Translations really matched!

Further, I also recognized and rejected the New International Version (NIV), because it simply seemed frivolous compared to the more mature versions.  The NIV was just too simple and vague for serious study.

I ultimately settled on the NASB translation as my primary study tool, finding it to be mature and as accurate a translation as available.

Today, as you can understand, I use The Exalted Name Bible (ENB) for my primary reading.

About the Author - Moving Forward and Teaching:

About the Author – Moving Forward and Teaching:

About the Author  My studies, and Spiritual Gifts, gradually opened doors for me to become a Sunday School Teacher, or better said, a teacher of all things “Bible”.

I say that today with a great deal of reverence, because as a “Sunday School Teacher”, and because I interpret Scripture very literally, the warning issued in James 3:1, to teachers, really impacts my heart.

Therein we are told, “My brethren, be not many teachers, knowing that as such we will receive the greater condemnation” (ENB).  I really do take these matters seriously!

Impact of Different Bible Translations

The point is simply that the differences in Bible translations has always gnawed at me!

You can see then, why the vast difference I found in Psalm 68, as explained under the tab, “The Exalted Name”, was so annoying.

Yet, it was from the Psalm 68 variations, that I was compelled to search-out the fullness of His Name.  Then, through that search, and many others, and through the discoveries that unfolded during those searches, The Exalted Name Bible™ has been born.

About the Author – Impact of Elohim in my Life:

About the Author  Our Master has imprinted 1 John 2:27 within my heart from the outset of my walk with Him.  Knowing, therefore, that I needed no other teacher than He, through His Holy Spirit, I labored joyously.

In the fullness of His promise, my Teacher has also made certain that I have studied His Word feverishly.

And, I have experienced His Word in my life too, as He disciplined and strengthened me on a day-by-day basis.

As His scribe for four decades, I nevertheless remain extremely excited about devouring His Word in my personal studies.  My new favorite Study Bible though, is The Exalted Name Bible™.

I sincerely pray that you enjoy your reading or listening to The ENB™ as well.

Very sincerely, I remain faithfully and humbly your servant in Yehoshua our Messiah,
